Showcasing her multi talented self, Lauryn Hill, aka L-Boogie gave us Everything. Literally.

Everything is Everything includes one of the coldest 16 of all time. It also shows off her musical talent, and ability to talk to us through song.  Now it seems like several rappers are including music in everything they do. On her debut Album (which included Everything is Everything) we were treated to a healthy mixture throughout. The hip hop world is still hoping she will bless us again some day with an entire album of her greatness, like she did with this one. (Check out Lauryn Hill in our lineup of The Best Female MC’s)

We’ve stated on the pages of AuthorityHop.com several times and will continue, that hip hop is a vehicle to say something. It’s an opportunity to do more than just talk about how much money you put in your bank account.  This form of musical expression allows us to talk to one another about what we are facing.
