Going back to The Heart Part 1, released in 2010, Kendrick Lamar has been holding hip hop down. He’s been representing the West Coast beautifully. For those who are not from the West Coast hip hop scene, you may not understand that off top. Groups from the 90’s like, Freestyle Fellowship with creative flows, over jazz beats is so L.A. Taking lyrical communication seriously is how the west coast has held down hip hop over all these years.  That’s what legend status is all about.
