"Kill Jill" by Big Boi featuring Killer Mike and Jeezy
AH Video Review Rated:
Atlanta veterans Big Boi, Killer Mike and Jeezy team up for this one. Kill Jill features two verses from Big Boi with Killer Mike starting it off. Jeezy on the hook, in a video that is visually interesting, but doesn’t really fit the song. Clearly the name of the song, Kill Jill is a take off from Kill Bill. Seemed like they might go that direction from the beginning of the video, but then it took a turn.
3 cash stacks.
With Cash Stack ratings, we are acknowledging that this is mostly a get money track. The substance is not there for it to be lit with flames. It’s not empowerment and so, fists don’t fit. Seemingly the director of this one just wanted to see black artists in exotic sets. This video would have been 5 stacks if it just would have modeled more of the video after the film that inspired the title of the song.
Even doper if it had someone playing Jill, who reminded us of Bill.
Kill Jill is just a good chance for us to enjoy Killer Mike and Big Boi on a track together. From Big Boi’s album, Boomiverse, let us know your thoughts of the video below.
