**Update ** The Coachella performance is missing from the internet, all of a sudden. So we replaced it with a Live performance of Norf Norf by Vince Staples, earlier in 2018, up in San Francisco, CA. 

Recently at Coachella Vince Staples not only blew the whistle and shined a Spotlight on R. Kelly, but he performed too. He brought Kendrick Lamar out during that performance, but this is his hit single “Norf Norf”, performed live. (Check out the review we wrote for Norf Norf  (the official video ) – Visit Northside Long Beach – Tales from The Hood) – 4 Fire performance for the energy Vince had to exude on a crowd that was … well … very white.

What we have seen in the recent years at Coachella is an, Under appreciation for the black performances.  I personally love that Vince performed ‘this song’ specifically. There was a ‘slight controversy’ over the response from a white lady who heard this song from Vince Staples on the radio. 

Her response to Norf Norf was, ‘coded’ with all sorts of problematic speech.

She clearly had no issues with, ‘other artists’ talking about controversial topics. A black man speaking about life in a city where the only ‘real threat’ to him are Police, is a message she didn’t want to hear. It’s that same ‘energy’ we see from people who want blacks to love the police, and sing the national anthem.  “I ain’t never ran from nothing but the police.”, with a bullet proof vest on, in the desert, unafraid to continue to share His Truth; shedding light on the corruption and power of Police departments across he United States of America. Again … 4 Lit flames for this one, Vince Staples, live at Coachella 2018.
