Runaway Review: There is a lot to say about this video which easily gets 5 fires from me. Regardless of how you feel about Kanye West now or back when this video came out, this is a Visual Masterpiece. Mixing in a few ‘tracks’ from his incredible album, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”, they eventually build up to focusing on the theme track, Runaway.

It’s weird at times, because yes it’s about a beautiful creature falling from the sky. By the end of this masterpiece, he’ll want her to, runaway.

It’s about him bringing this beautiful creature around others who do not appreciate what’s different. The awkwardness of it all is palpable.

We can relate if we allow ourselves to, when attempting to do anything great, or ‘unusual’.

Since this album, it’s fair to say that Kanye has only, continued to do things that others don’t always, appreciate. But this is “Old Kanye”, at the height of his career in the opinion of many. This is Vintage Kanye … and we are glad this lives in the annals of hip hop history, as an example for others to look to, when it comes to what a masterpiece looks like.
