"a lot" by 21 Savage
AH Video Review Rated:
21 savage heart so cold he could put it in his cup
21 savage received, a lot of press a few weeks back. Turns out 21’s immigration status ran out, and he was shipped out of the United States. But, not before dropping this video on the world, featuring J. Cole in a guest role. How ever many problems he had before, the lil ICE run in, just added one more. Dope song, but we are here to talk about the visuals…
In this video review, as usual, I like to talk about what’s going on In the video. This is why I’m throwing 4 cash stacks at this one, for the originality and creativity on display. Also for staying relevant to the subject at hand.
What I liked most about this video, is it’s a “Thanksgiving” setting, with family gathered around. Meanwhile, just about every single person at that table, is going through a lot of problems. Ever get together to celebrate, in spite of your problems? This video from 21 savage to me, gets that message through. Also, these problems we go through can be the reasons that holiday seasons bring folks down. This is a reality, seldom talked about. People go through things, lose loved ones, and holidays are not the same.
We are getting all of that, throughout this video from 21, 21.
Do you agree with us on 4 cash stacks?
Kudos to J. Cole, who really drops one of the coldest verses of 2018 on this one. As usual, including shout outs to the Hoop world – but we not here to talk about the bars.
Okay, no problem, I’ll show up on everyone album
You know what the outcome will be
I’m batting a thousand
It’s got to the point that these rappers don’t even like rappin’ with me
Fuck it ’cause my nigga 21 Savage just hit me
And told me he saved me a spot on a new record he got
He call it “a lot,” I open my book and I jot
Pray for Tekashi, they want him to rot
I picture him inside a cell on a cot
’Flectin’ on how he made it to the top
Wondering if it was worth it or not
I pray for Markelle ’cause they fucked up his shot
Just want you to know that you got it, my nigga
Though I never met you, I know that you special
And that the Lord blessed you, don’t doubt it, my nigga
